Short film produced by Maruti Suzuki under the banner of Media Village studios, as a part of road safety awareness programme began its shooting in February. The film which is the third venture by Media Village studios is being starred by Tamil superstar Karthi and the work is now in progress in Chennai and Kochi. The film is being directed by famous Ad filmmaker Raju Abraham. DOP is being taken care of by Swaroop Philip. The first of the three schedules was completed on 5 of February. Second schedule will be on 19 and 20 of the month in Ernakulam. The latter part will get completed by the end of the month in Chennai. The 2 minute short film is deals with the problems of drunken driving. It will be released as a multilingual film in all the south Indian states including Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu." A South Indian superstar is made the hero of the short film considering its reach outside Kerala" says the crew. Two short films have already been released from the banner of Media Village Studios as a part of road safety awareness programme. Both of them got good response from the audience. The first one was released in 2015 staring Dulquer Salman presented the importance of wearing helmet while riding two wheelers and was directed by Sanal Kalathil. The other was in 2017 with the promising actor Unni Mukundan in the lead role, directed by Raju Abraham.
