The oath-taking ceremony for the newly elected members of the college’s student union was held on October 27, 2023. The occasion served as an official induction for fifteen elected representatives, heralding a year dedicated to leadership and unity within the campus community. Attended by the principal, faculty members, and students alike, the ceremony commenced with a spirited welcome address by Jean Sebastian, the Student Governor of the College. “The college union has a pivotal role in nurturing a vibrant campus culture. I would like to encourage the newly elected representatives to embrace the institution's values and collaborate effectively with the administration as we bring up the campus vibe,” said Jean Sebastian in his welcome address. Presiding over the solemn oath-taking was Fr. Dr. Joseph Parackal, the Principal of the college. Each elected representative solemnly pledged to dutifully execute their responsibilities, adhere to the college's regulations, and tirelessly work towards enhancing the student community. Following the oath, the college band heightened the atmosphere with a lively musical performance, eliciting cheers and applause from the captivated audience. Concluding the ceremony was Nevin Manoj, Chairman of the Students' Union, who extended gratitude to the college's administration, faculty, and students for their unwavering support. He expressed appreciation for the dedication shown by the newly elected representatives and vowed to collaborate closely with them to address students' concerns and needs. The ceremony deemed a resounding success, symbolizes the commencement of a new era for the student union, promising dynamic leadership and proactive engagement.
