A Music Composing and Recording Workshop was conducted on 18th July 2019 by Mr. Prince George a well known Music Director for BA Audiography and Digital Editing Semester 3 students. Prince George crafts audio into a creative soundscape for Indian films, raising the bar for audio engineers everywhere. He studied music for around 10 years and was even featured on the reality show Gandharva Sangeetham in 2003. Deciding to pursue a career in audio design, he went on to complete a degree in Sound Recording & Design from the FTII (Film and TV Institute of India, Pune). His experiences with music and audio designing helped students with new perspectives in sound recording and composition. The workshop indeed helped students in new creative interventions in the field of music. Many were encouraged to take up further studies in audio design.
