St. Joseph College of Communication proudly celebrates the achievement of its student documentary Submergence, which received the Special Mention Documentary Award at the Rain International Film Festival. The recognition highlights the college’s strong emphasis on socially relevant storytelling and creative excellence in media education. The documentary was directed by Ajeesh Ashik, with cinematography by Vishnu VN, editing by A. Joseph Kelvin, and scripting by Biljith Sasi and Sidharth Peethambaran. This achievement reflects the collaborative spirit, technical proficiency, and creative vision nurtured at SJCC, and stands as a testament to the institution’s commitment to empowering students to engage meaningfully with contemporary issues through media and design.
