The Department of Animation and Design at St. Joseph College of Communication (SJCC) celebrated International Animation Day with great enthusiasm and creativity. The event also marked the official launch of ENLIVEN 2026, SJCC’s International Animation Film Festival. The celebration featured a vibrant lineup of competitions including Cosplay, Face Painting, Art Exhibition, Fashion Show, and Character Design, showcasing the immense talent and imagination of the students. The day concluded with a special animation film screening at MV Cinemas, the college’s in-house theatre, adding a cinematic touch to the festivities. Rev. Dr. Mathew Muryankari, Principal of SJCC, delivered the inaugural address and officially launched ENLIVEN 2026. Rev. Dr. Jojin Elanjickal, Academic Director, offered felicitations, while Rev. Fr. Lipin Thundukalam, Bursar, distributed prizes to the competition winners. The Art Exhibition was inaugurated by Vice Principal Mr. Thomas Joseph. The event was organized under the leadership of Mr. Saji Lukose, Head of the Department of Animation and Design, with the active support of faculty members Mr. George John, Mr. Jacob Umman, and Mr. Geo George. The celebration reflected SJCC’s continued commitment to nurturing creativity and innovation in the field of animation and design, inspiring young artists to dream, create, and explore the limitless world of visual storytelling.
