SJCC Celebrates the Success of Alumna Jilumol Marriet Thomas — Kerala Sree Award 2025 Winner St. Joseph College of Communication (SJCC) proudly congratulates Ms. Jilumol Marriet Thomas, alumna of BA Animation & Graphic Design (2009–2012 batch), on being honoured with the prestigious Kerala Sree Award 2025. Born without hands, Jilumol’s life is a story of remarkable determination, creativity, and courage. A native of Thodupuzha in Idukki, she has turned every challenge into an opportunity—emerging as a graphic designer, Mouth and Foot Painting Artist, influencer, and YouTuber. Her journey began at SJCC in 2009, where she was nurtured by the encouragement and support of the management, faculty, and classmates. Her perseverance and passion helped her complete her degree successfully, shaping the foundation of her artistic and professional path. Over the years, Jilumol has achieved numerous milestones — becoming the first Asian without both arms to obtain a four-wheeler driving license in 2023 and winning several national recognitions including the Best Painter of the Year Award 2021 (MFPA), Youth Icon Award, Junior Helen Keller Award, Vanitha Rathna Award 2024, and the Kairali Special Award from Padma Shri Mammootty. She is also a member of the Mouth and Foot Painting Artist Association (MFPA), has featured in the motivational album “Chiraku,” and made her mark as a dubbing artist in the Malayalam film “Three Days.” SJCC celebrates her incredible achievements with immense pride. Jilumol stands as a beacon of inspiration to every student, reminding us that true success comes from resilience, creativity, and unwavering spirit. Congratulations, Jilumol Marriet Thomas, on this well-deserved honour!
