A half day awareness class on the consequences of using drugs was conducted at SJCC on 22 October, 2018. The class was held by Mr. Pradeep Kumar, a civil officer from the Excise Department. The classes were held for degree first year students. The students were given awareness on different types of narcotic drugs and its effects on human body. He shared his experience in the service and pointed out that the drugs are now commonly used among students and youngsters. The students were given contact numbers in order to contact the authorities if they come in contact with such issues. The students found the class effective.
