On October 22, 2025, students from Assumption College, Changanassery, accompanied by Fr. Rojan Purackal, visited St. Joseph College of Communication (SJCC) to explore the vibrant and creative world of media and design. As part of the visit, a captivating seminar on “The Intricate Relationship Between Politics, Cinema, and News” was conducted by Assistant Professor Ms. Sharlet M. George. The session offered valuable insights into how political narratives are represented through films across Malayalam and world cinema. Students actively engaged in discussions that examined various cinematic eras and their socio-political reflections. Following the seminar, participants had the opportunity to experience live news presentation at the SJCC studio floor, equipped with advanced media production facilities. The hands-on session provided them with a real-world understanding of professional media practices and production dynamics
