A photography workshop was conducted by Nikon India on 10 July at St. Joseph College of Communication. The workshop was attended by first-year students of B.A. Visual Communication and M.A. Cinema and Television batches. Nikon Technical Officer Mr. Arun P. J. and Regional Trainer Mr. Vipin Saji led the sessions for the students. The classes focused on the usage and selection of cameras, which proved to be highly beneficial for media studies. Students had the opportunity to explore cinematography techniques and try out various types of cameras. The sessions highlighted the importance of camera studies and were particularly useful for students stepping into the field, helping them clear their doubts and build a solid foundation. This full-day program proved immensely valuable for both B.A. and M.A. students. Participants shared that the session was particularly helpful in guiding their camera choices and tailoring selections to their individual interests.
