Melange 2025, the intercollegiate fest of St. Joseph College of Communication (SJCC), was held on the 20th and 21st of February 2025, marking the college’s 20th anniversary with the motto “Celebrating 20 years of excellence.” The fest featured a wide range of media-related competitions, including 72-hour filmmaking, spot dubbing, RJ/VJ Hunt, news reporting, photography, ad film making, choreography, cinema scene creation, face painting, logo designing, stand-up comedy, cosplay, music band performances, and gaming. With around 300 students from various colleges across Kerala participating, the event was a vibrant platform for showcasing creativity and talent. Highlights included exhibitions, installations, cultural evenings, an AI robot show, extended reality lab experiences, and film screenings in the college theatre, offering attendees an immersive cultural and technological experience. The fest was inaugurated by Mr. Dyan Sreenivasan—renowned actor, director, and scriptwriter—with Archbishop Thomas Tharayil, the Metropolitan Archbishop of Changanassery and patron of the college, presiding over the inaugural ceremony. A major highlight was the Mega Show by the popular music band “THAKARA” on the second day, which captivated the audience with its electrifying performance. The event was organized by the college union under the leadership of Mr. Alby Anto, the chairperson, with dedicated coordination from Ms. Nissa Susan Mathew, Mr. Vimal Murukesan, Ms. Rosy Joseph, Mr. Sibin T. Varghese, and Mr. Bibin Thomas.
