St. Joseph College of Communication (SJCC) reached another milestone with the launch of its inaugural edition of the “SJCC International Journal of Communication Research” on 18 December 2024. The event celebrated the college's commitment to academic excellence and its vision to contribute to the field of communication studies. The journal serves as a platform for innovative research and scholarly discussions, marking a significant step forward in SJCC's academic pursuits. The launch event was graced by the presence of renowned alumni Mr. M.C. Jithin and Mr. Libin T.B., the creative minds behind the blockbuster Malayalam film Sookshma Darshini. In a symbolic and memorable moment, Mr. Jithin, the film’s director, handed over the first copy of the journal to Mr. Libin, its scriptwriter. This exchange not only celebrated their artistic achievements but also highlighted the enduring connection between SJCC and its illustrious alumni, who continue to inspire future generations.
