The oath-taking ceremony for the newly elected Student Union was held on October 28, 2024, marking the start of a new chapter in student leadership at St. Joseph College of Communication. Mr. Nevin Manoj, the outgoing chairperson, warmly welcomed everyone to the ceremony, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to serve and wishing success to his successors. Ms. Nissan Susan Mathew, the presiding officer, delivered an introductory address, setting a reflective and motivating tone for the event. Dr. Joseph Parackal, the principal, acknowledged Mr. Nevin’s contributions, commending his dedication, and extended his congratulations to Mr. Alby Anto Sunil, the newly elected chairperson. Dr. Parackal then led the oath-taking, officially entrusting the new team with their responsibilities. Mr. Thomas Joseph, the vice principal, offered his congratulations and words of encouragement, urging the union to lead with integrity and purpose. Concluding the ceremony, Mr. Alby Anto Sunil expressed his gratitude in the vote of thanks, pledging to uphold the values of the college and work diligently for the student body.
