Assumption College, Changanassery, organised an observational visit to SJCC for its social work students and staff. A group of 32 first-year MSW students explored the college’s state-of-the-art facilities, including the Radio Atmos studio, TV floor, and Theatre, to gain insights into media applications relevant to their field. The visit offered practical exposure to advanced media tools, with hands-on experiences in stop-motion techniques, MVTV, and MACTV. SJCC staff provided demonstrations and lectures, showcasing how media and communication skills can enhance social work practices. This visit highlighted the value of interdisciplinary learning and the integration of media in various professional contexts, contributing to a more comprehensive educational experience, for the participants.
