Changanassery: The arts and sports competition of the academic year 2018-19 started in St. Joseph College of Communication, Changanassery with the friendly badminton match between teachers and students. Rev. Fr. Joseph Parackalinaugurated the competition by playing carroms.
“A healthy body holds a healthy mind anda healthy mind breeds a healthy body” said the principal Rev. Fr. Joseph Parackal in his speech on the inaugural ceremony of the Sports day.
To increase the participation of the studentscompetitions of this year have beenplanned to be conducteddepartment vice. The suggestion put forward by the college union was approved by the management. Six departments of the BA section along with the PG section forms seven groups. This is the first program to be conducted under the leadership of the new college union.
“These sports competitions will develop the leadership quality of our students. And this should encouragesports man spiritin our college”,Fr. Antony Ethackad the executive director of Media Village said.
