Noble Peter is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Media Studies at St Joseph College of Communication. He is a film director, music composer, photographer, and writer. He obtained his Post Graduation with First Rank in Cinema and Television from St. Joseph College of Communication, Changanassery which is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala. He obtained his M. Phil in Theater Arts from Mahatma Gandhi University's School of Letters and his Ph.D. in Film Studies from the same institution.
Noble Peter is best known for two music videos, both of which are about women's empowerment. Noble received widespread acclaim for his 2016 music video "Lights," which depicted the mental problems of a rape victim girl. The second music video was created as part of a competition hosted by famous Hollywood composer Hans Zimmer and Sony Music. Noble's work, titled "Time," was the only entry from India. This music video addressed the issue of domestic violence, and it received a lot of media attention.
Apart from being a musician, Noble Peter has also made his mark in the film industry. He is a member of FEFKA Music Directors Union and has composed music for three films. “Tide of Lies” released in 2020, followed by “Kattinarike” in 2021 and “Iru” in 2023. Noble Peter has also completed a wildlife documentary on the wildlife of Idukki.
