Infrastructure
The mission of SJCC is to deliver those facilities necessary to provide an environment for teaching and research that are safe, comfortable, modern, and of highest quality. The college has all facilities to serve the needs of all faculty, staff and students of the College. It has well equipped infrastructure, experienced faculty and staff, it supports deserving students financially by providing scholarships, a library and information center with a spacious, well equipped building with a floor area of around 2000 Sq. m., an auditorium with all modern facilities, a sports dept. to provide wide variety of sports, a multipurpose hall to hold cultural activities etc, an computers & internet Lab to cater to the needs of research and information over internet.
Library:
The institute has one of the best equipped libraries for Commerce / Management Studies. The Library has over 15,000 books, 30 professional journals. The Library follows an open access system. In-house photocopying is available.The Library has an admirable collection of classics, dictionaries, encyclopaedias, self-development books, academic books , subscription to periodicals across the world, project reports, magazines and journals that provide a wide spectrum of information on business strategies, scientific research and information technology. The library helps cultivate educated and informed minds. CD's and Video Cassettes will form a separate section in the Library in the near future.
Computer & IT Centre:
In keeping with its commitment to extend educational opportunities in the field of Information Technology, the computer center is equipped with around 150 Computers of Pentium –IV, Pentium – III, Pentium II and Celeron systems including five printers.The computer centre has maintained the most advanced technology and Internet facility of a leased line of 512 KBPS as a backbone. Scanning facilities, downloading, uploading, printing are availed by the staff and students. It has different kinds of latest operating systems, softwares, hardwares and DTP Multimedia facilities. Students are encouraged to use the computer center, to acquire more knowledge by browsing through the Internet and by using other facilities in the computer centre. Classes in office automation and general computer awareness and Tally are being held for the benefit of the students.
Audio Visual Room:
A special place built for the cross-pollination of thoughts and ideas, the AV Room hall spans a plinth area of 1100sq.ft., with a seating capacity of around 100. The hall is equipped with the latest conferencing technology like over-head projector, slide projector, LCD system and other audio-visual aids.
Board Room :
A special place built for the cross-pollination of thoughts and ideas, the Board Room hall spans a plinth area of 600sq.ft., with a seating capacity of around 45. The hall is equipped with the latest conferencing technology like slide projector, over-head projector, LCD system and other audio-visual aids.
